Bon Voyage, WI3+
I forgot to add this video to last night's post - but just for the full multi-media experience, here is Dave climbing Bon Voyage.
The grade is a bit of a guess because I don't think the WI system was ever really designed for little routes like we get in Finland, but it gives some idea.
Yep - you couldn't kick - just stab one front point in whilst wrapping your other leg around the pillar for balance! I always normally second leashless, but decided to use my leashes on that one - knowing I'd probably end up doing a few pull ups and lock-offs with nowt for your feet!
I don't fancy the look of the start of Nilkkapilarit, but the rest of it looks great.
