This allegation has subsequently been falsified by evidence from the university's student registry. Another professor claimed to be familiar with the applicant's written work and applications for various scholarhips and made claims in a written expert statement which have during the course of the investigation also been falsified. Other written comments being reviewed are alleged by the applicant to contain severely biased and uncorraborated statements.

The University of Chancellors Office stated that they could not comment on the case as it is currently active. The expert statements utilised in the application process were however viewed as warranting an investigation into their quality and veracity by the university.

The Finnish Ministry of Education issued an order in March requiring the university to review and report on the case to the ministry. The order also demanded that the university look into hiring practises at the Swedish School of Social Sciences.

Representatives of the applicant making the complaint stated that the applicant has filed researcher mobility and discrimination of foreign enterprise complaints with the Government of Canada and is considering further legal action.

A ruling is expected in the case by the end of June of this year.

More Info: http://www.spacepol.ca/spnw/index.xmlAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
